作品説明 :丸みを帯びたやわらかなフォルムと、黒粉によって風化したヒビの表皮。
その佇まいは、静けさを纏い、時間を優しく沈殿させます。

乾燥させた素地に白土による化粧を施すことで、陶土の表面に独特のひびや崩れが生まれています。繊細な質感の表現の為、素地は触れると剥落します。
粉末顔料の掛け流しによる彩色は、パステル調の粒子感を残すため定着素材の使用を極力控えているので、経年により退色が進行します。これらは意図した表現であり「風化や時間の移ろいを映す景色」としてお楽しみください。

取り扱い :非常に繊細な質感を表現しているため、素地は触れると剥落します。

Description

A gently rounded form, and a surface of cracks weathered by black pigment.
Its quiet presence wears stillness, softly allowing time to settle.

By applying a white slip onto a thoroughly dried clay body, distinctive cracks and subtle crumbling textures emerge across the surface of the ceramic. To preserve this delicate surface texture, the clay body flakes when touched. Color is applied by pouring powdered pigments over the surface. To retain the soft, pastel-like grain of the particles, the use of fixatives is kept to a minimum; as a result, gradual fading occurs over time. These changes are an intended part of the work. Please appreciate them as a landscape that reflects weathering and the passage of time.

Handling & Care

Because the work expresses an extremely delicate surface texture, the clay body flakes when touched. Changes in texture and gradual fading will occur over time; please understand these as integral aspects of the artistic expression. The piece is protected with a varnish to help reduce pigment fading, and many works are additionally treated with a water-repellent coating. However, as cracks, peeling, and surface fragility are essential to the character of the work, it is not intended to hold water. Please enjoy it as an object that quietly inhabits space.
